The 2003 OptiMax 250XS, OptiMax 200XS, Pro Max 225X and Pro Max 300X outboards, equipped with the state-of-the-art SmartCraft Control Area Network (CAN) system, continue the tradition of high performance advanced marine propulsion systems from Mercury Racing.

The legendary 280 h.p. 2.5 EFI Series remain to be the only “street legal” race outboards available. The stout 2.5 liter engines are living proof that Mercury Racing engineers can wring more horsepower per pound from an outboard than any other manufacturer.
